Susquehanna Valley Christians in Conversation
Valley Christians in Conversation aims to promote exploration and celebration of our Christian traditions, to seek relevant modes of expression that encourage conversation with peoples of all faiths and no faith, to contribute to a holistic vision of a transfigured world of peace, justice, and sustainability, and to enrich spiritual lives.
Christians today, like Christians in all times, are called to an incarnational faith that witnesses and responds to the prevailing culture creatively, constructively, compassionately, and concretely. At its best, the Christian tradition is richly diverse, intelligent, spiritually and aesthetically fulfilling, and socially aware. Christians should strive to engage in the world in ways that
- explore and celebrate our various local and global traditions;
- seek relevant modes of expression to encourage dialogue with peoples of all faiths and no faith;
- contribute to a holistic vision of a transfigured world of peace, justice, and sustainability;
- and enrich our individual and spiritual lives.
